Folding doors: what are they and how do they work?
Folding doors are made up of two or more panels that fold on themselves, opening like a book. Thanks to this peculiarity, folding doors are particularly suitable for those with limited space. In fact, when open, the panels take up less space compared to other types of doors. Furthermore, folding doors can be made in different sizes and materials, according to customer needs.
Operation is simple: the movement of the panels is guaranteed by special hinges, positioned on the lateral parts of the individual elements. Closing is instead ensured by a central lock which blocks all the panels at the same time.

Folding doors without lower guide, or without floor guide, are recognized for their versatility, for example they are the ideal solution for spaces where existing floor is uneven. A folding door without lower guide is also particularly appreciated because it can be installed more quickly than other types of industrial doors.

Our doors can be encased with various types of glass, for example: transparent laminated (versions from mm. 3+3 o 4+4 o 5+5 ), stratified special (White Satin, White Milk, St. C ), double glazing ( of mm. 3+3 / 9 / 3+3 ), double glazing with low emissivity ( of mm. 3+3 / 14 g.a. / 3+3 b.e. ) and many other types of glass.

Our panels are coated on both sides with smooth sheet in prepainted steel thickness 7-8/10, available in all these RAL colors:
We also have a sheet covered in walnut-stained PVC in two shades: light or dark.
Upon request we can cover panels with stainless steel sheet (Aisi 304 or 316) or pre-painted aluminium sheet.
